Window2

Sonny claims the company is run by plants. Look at where the C suite offices are. Always near windows. And the more important the plants get, the more Window2 they need. They sit in those corner offices and soak all the light up so what are we left with? This. Listen, Sonny says, pointing up.

Buckets

Then one of us, a C-suite exec, starts on buckets, how it’s imperative to think in buckets. sort matters by bucket, otherwise everything and everyone get mixed up and off mission and one loses focus but one won’t lose focus if everything’s in its proper bucket but that’s the hard part knowing what’s what, which implementing models help the firm best deliver experiences along the buying journey and one of us holds up a pen and asks what color are these buckets and another says don’t be an asshole Sonny and a third it’s like saying we’re going to make a killing we aren’t actually going to kill anyone at least I don’t think so it’s a metaphor which isn’t on today’s agenda and makes us sip our designer coffee or check our cellphones and cast a vote for the NBA All-Star game or fly off business class on mental vacation to a place like Bali or Norway where we’ve never been but that woman and I were happy there and then one of us, the C-suite exec, transitions us back to buckets and the imperative of picking the right bucket and we fill the hour with sand until noon.
