Work
Choose your work. Eat, sleep, and breathe it.
Buy wheelbarrows for birthday presents,
vacuum cleaners for Christmas.
Work magic,
work wonders,
do the legwork, be a workhorse.
Shape the shoes and shoe the horse.
Pull your weight, carry the load,
take your lumps.
Work through it.
Work the land, hoe your row.
Plan your work and work your plan.
Men are made to work like birds are made to fly.
Feed the horses,
muck the stalls.
Work the afternoon shift at Riley Tar and Chemical.
Do good works.
It’s workable. It’s doable. Be more responsible.
Chop your own firewood and it will warm you twice.
Hard work never hurt anyone.
Work until the cows come home,
then go home
and milk the cows.
